MAPS is a member of Maxford Group. Our school offers a series of wine courses including specific workshops and WSET courses from a basic to a more advanced level (WSET Level 1, Level 2, Level 3). Our objective is to strengthen the skills of our students and assist them to obtain professional qualification in wine.

We also provide connoisseur wine tours, professional wine service training programs to hotels, restaurants and bars, as well as group wine appreciation events for various Corporations and Organizations.

Workshops
The workshops are specific lectures related to wine. (Ex: How to enjoy a glass of champagne?, French pronunciation, etc.)

MAPS Foundation: Wine Appreciation Course
This course is especially created for elementary wine enthusiasts who would like to enter the fantasy world of wine, in a fun and relaxed manner and is based on recreational and practical approaches explaining the basics of wine, from how wine is produced, wine selection to evaluation, followed by tasting on various styles of wine.

WSET Level 1 Award in Wines
(Formerly: Foundation Certificate in Wines)
This course covers the major grape varieties and where they are grown around the world. Students are taught on how to taste wine professionally using a simple WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting.

WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits
(Formerly: Intermediate Certificate in Wines and Spirits)
This course will introduce wine making techniques, various types of wine labels, the major grape varieties and the main wine-producing countries. Students are taught on how to taste wine professionally using a more in-depth WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting.

This course provides a more comprehensive coverage on wines and spirits around the world in a much wider range. The qualification has an increased focus on wine tasting technique.
