WSET Wine Courses

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) was founded in 1969 to provide high quality education and training in wines and spirits. It is today the most widely recognized and highly regarded wine certification program in the world today.

As one of WSET's Approved Programme Provider (APP), MAPS school offers series of WSET courses in the respect of this well-established wine education program. Our two tutors at MAPS school have got the highest diplomas that can be delivered by the WSET.

	WSET Level 1 Award in Wines (Formerly: Foundation Certificate in Wines) This course covers the major grape varieties and where they are grown around the world. Students are taught how to taste wine professionally using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting.
	WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits (Formerly: Intermediate Certificate in Wines and Spirits) A recreational approach explaining the basics of vine growing to wine elaboration, followed by tasting initiation.
	WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits (Formerly: Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits) This course provides a more comprehensive coverage of the wide range of wines and spirits around the world. The qualification has an increased focus on wine tasting technique.
